Abstract

Kata kunci: Net Present Value, Benefit Cost Ratio, Internal Rate of Return, payback periode, Investasi. ABSTRACT Pak Eko's Eko Farm boiler chicken business currently has a capacity of 12,000 chickens, but there are plans to expand it to accommodate 45,000 chickens. This study aims to evaluate the financial viability of expanding the Eko Farm boiler chicken farm to accommodate 45,000 chickens. The analysis of financial feasibility involves the calculation of net present value (NPV), benefit-cost ratio (BCR), internal rate of return (IRR), and payback period (PP). The calculation results show that increasing the Eko Farm boiler chicken business from 12,000 chickens to 45,000 chickens is mathematically feasible. The payback period (PP) is 1.23 periods, indicating a quick return on investment as the PP is less than 12 periods. According to research, the NPV is IDR 9,953,780,812 when the data is processed using a DCF discount rate of 6% (based on the 2024 BRI-KUR interest rate). Applying a discount rate of 7% (based on the 2024 KUR Mandiri interest rate) using DCF. The Net Present Value (NPV) amounts to IDR 8,858,707,968; therefore, a Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) of 6% is utilized, resulting in a higher NPV and a slightly quicker return on investment. A positive NPV signifies the viability of business expansion. The Internal Rate of Return (IRR) stands at 22.50%, surpassing the 6% discount rate. Furthermore, the Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) of 1.17 further supports the feasibility of this venture, as a ratio above 1 indicates feasibility. Keywords: Net Present Value, Benefit Cost Ratio, Internal Rate of Return, payback period, investment
