Abstract
This study analyses cash receipt control at PT Mitra Sejahtera Membangun Bangsa. The methodology employed in this research is descriptive qualitative, involving data collection through interviews and documentation related to cash receipt control. The findings indicate that the company’s cash receipt sources originate from two primary channels: cash and credit sales. Both sales methods have been implemented following the company’s established procedures, particularly regarding cash receipts from credit sales. However, the study identified a need for improvements in control measures to ensure that the cash receipt process operates more effectively and efficiently. Consequently, this study recommends that the company enhance its internal control system by conducting regular employee performance evaluations and increasing supervision of employee activities to minimize errors in recording cash receipts and data entry. This enhancement in control is expected to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the cash receipt process within the company.
