Turtles are one of Indonesia's biodiversity. Turtles have been used by humans for food, medicine, education, and as pets. Turtles have a slow growth and a long period of maturity, so a monitoring and tracking system is needed in the breeding of turtles. The system created will be expected to work to monitor the preservation of turtle ecosystems in the process of laying eggs and in the process of hatching turtle eggs. Along with the development of technology at this time, a system is made based on the Internet of Things (IoT) by using the website as a medium of information so that this system can be accessed by users in the process of monitoring. The research method was carried out by observing turtle breeding, conducting interviews directly with the owners of turtle breeding, and studying literature by looking for sources of books and scientific papers in accordance with the title of this study. The outline of the way of the system works is temperature monitoring and turtles tracking. Temperature monitoring as data to see the temperature around turtles and turtle eggs during the egg laying and hatching process, then to see the condition of the turtle whether it is laying eggs or estimating the age in turtle egg hatching, while tracking the turtle by using the Ublox NEO-6M GPS Module sensor as the sender of latitude and longitude data that Google Maps requires to display the location of the turtle's coordinates and turtle eggs. From the experiments that have been carried out, the sensors contained in this system run according to their functions, sensor data sent via NodeMcu with the ESP8266 WiFi module sent to the database server first, then displayed on the website page. Users will access the website to monitor and track turtles. Keywords : Turtles, monitoring, tracking, Internet of Things (IoT).
