Along with the advances in technology and information, smartphones become very important thing. All information can be accessed easily any time from this device. Therefore, smartphones are like a must-have thing for everyone. Smartphones are very flexible to carry everywhere. However, the smartphone cannot function if the battery runs out. For this reason, a battery charger is needed which can also be used any time. For the reason, I was interested to research about battery chargers that utilize the power of human motion. This research uses DC generators as main material to produce electricity producers. This DC generator is attached to the shoe base. When the user of the shoe runs the generator will move and generate electricity to charge the smartphone battery. The DC generator used is a mini hydro generator. The power released by this generator reaches 12 volts but only 5 volts are used. Therefore, this system is equipped with IC 7805 as a power regulator released. In this research, the generator is connected with a one-way diode and supplied to the capacitor. The voltage then is set using the IC 7805 before being used to charge. At step up DC output are installed an USB socket, the USB will be use to charge the battery. The voltage and electric current is affected by the user step speed. The voltage and electric current produced will be stable if the user's step is stable. Keywords: generator dc, ic 7805, battery, dc step up.
