Abstract

Recruitment of new employees is a process of searching and withdrawing workers who have the potential to fill job vacancies, a qualified workforce has an influence on the performance of the company's progress In the decision making process for admitting new employees in PDAM Sleman, subjectivity is still influenced by factors and companies often have difficulty in choosing employees, because of the great number of prospective employees who apply while those who will be accepted as employees are very limited and still use the system manually, so the decisions tends to be subjective and the possibility of errors in employee selection can occur. Therefore, through designing and making decision-making systems (SPK) with Weighted Product (WP) methods, it is expected that this method can make it easier to make a decision in the recruitment of employees with a lot of data. The results of this study are a decision support system that is used to assist in improving the performance of the company in receiving employees and assisting in the making of reports such as reports on the selection of new employees in PDAM Sleman.
