Abstract
ABSTRACT The era is increasingly advanced in the field of electronics which is now sophisticated where the use of electronic devices already uses the internet. Seeing the existing problems, the author intends to make a final project entitled “Design of Centralized Passwords-Based Hotel Room Door Safety Devices ". This tool works using a microcontroller chip as the main control. There is an Ethernet module which is used to connect Arduino to the internet. The keypad membrane will be controlled by Arduino and used to open and close the solenoid door lock. The control system on this device is controlled by an Arduino Uno microcontroller to process the membrane keypad to enter a password and will send to Arduino Uno to operate a solenoid door lock. The results of this study are centralized password-based hotel room door safety devices. The working system of this device is controlled with Arduino equipped with xampp control panel, ethernet module, membrane keypad, relay, and power supply. This centralized application is in the reception area and the guess must register first to be able to enter the room. The receptionist will provide a password or the guests can request a password as desired. Keywords: Ethernet module, room door, microcontroller
