Abstract
ABSTRACT Grand Dafam Rohan Jogja is one of the 4 star hotels in the city of Yogyakarta that applies the Sharia concept to its management. By occupying an area of 8,183 m2, it is expected that Grand Dafam Rohan Jogja will become a residence and place for meetings that are in demand by customers. It can accommodate up to 120 cars to support as many as 13 meeting rooms with 1 ballroom with 168 rooms. With such a large building, it certainly requires a large amount of electricity. Therefore, in this study an electric energy audit will be conducted at the Grand Dafam Rohan Jogja hotel to find out the profile of electricity used in 2018, the value of energy consumption intensity (IKE), the waste of electricity consumption that occurs and the energy saving opportunities that can be done. From the calculation of the IKE value, the total electricity usage during 2018 was 28.35 kWh /m2/ year. It can be identified with the SPSS Statistics V22 IMB software that has the most use in other electrical appliances at 52%. With these results it can be concluded that the use of electrical energy in the Grand Dafam Rohan Jogja is very efficient when compared to the standards imposed by the Indonesian National Standard (SNI).
