Abstract

ABSTRAK Trash cans are objects that are often around us. In garbage disposal people usually combine metal and non-metal waste in one container. So that garbage collects and makes the quality of environmental health decrease. By using the Arduino microcontroller, inductive proximity sensor, capacitive optical sensor and servo motor that holds the trash can automatically open and sort the type of garbage. Equipped with buzzer and LCD monitor to display the type of waste and is expected to be more practical, hygienic and activities to dispose of garbage in its place will be more attractive. Kata kunci : Sorting of metal & non-metal waste, Arduino, inductive proximity sensor, capacitive optics, servo motor
