Abstract
ABSTRACT University of Technology Yogyakarta is a Private University that has a variety of services, one of which is an operational bureau, but the services provided are not yet optimal, this is because the data entered is still conventional and data stored in Excel with storage does not guarantee its safety and ineffective information. Then various problems arose, especially for the service of the application form. The purpose of this research is to produce a web-based academic service management information system. The system design uses the PHP programming language with the use of Slim and Codeigniter Framework and Web Services support for data exchange. Using Sublime Text software, and designing systems using Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD). The results showed that the design of an academic service management information system can help students, operational bureau officers in making application forms through the website so that it is easier to access by students, operational bureau officers, UTY structural staff, and more secure security and can reduce errors in recording data and reduce errors in the presentation of reports.
