Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the values of Liberal Feminism as seen in the main character of the Suffragette Film. The problems analyzed in this study are the feminism values of the main characters depicted in the Suffragette Film. The writer uses the Objective Theory on Characterization and Characterization from Boggs & Petrie and The Theory of Feminism from Betty Friedan to help the writer learn the subject. The data were analyzed using qualitative research. The data are obtained by watching films, reading scripts repeatedly, and reading some references related to theory, film and recording important data to answer problems in research. The analysis of this study found several results. The findings show that Maud Watts is a woman who represents feminism, contrary to what is described by Betty Friedan, which is a woman who is courageous, determined, hard working, ambitious, responsible, and independent. The author also found that Maud reflects a feminist liberal who is radical because he does not need a husband or children. Key words: Liberal Feminism values, suffragette, women, character, film
