Abstract
In this research writer analyzed types of metaphor or figurative language in the frozen movie. Researcher did analysis this movie because not all people know that this movie has many types of metaphor or figurative language. There are two scopes of the study in this research. The first is types of figurative language in the Frozen movie and the second is dominant types of figurative language in the movie. In this study uses descriptive method. To conduct the data the researcher did qualitative method. The researcher does it by watching, movie, reading in the script, and selecting figurative language in the movie. The reseacher found six types of figurative language. After collecting data the researcher classified the data based on the types of figurative language by Perrine theory and the dominant type of figurative language in the movie. The researcher found six types of figurative language in the movie, they are simile, metaphor, personification, metonymy, hyperbole, and alliteration. There are six types of figurative language and 33 data result of this research. The first is simile 12 data of simile (36, 36%), 1 data of metaphor (3, 03%), 4 data of personification (12, 12%), 3 data of hyperbole (9,09%), 2 data of metonymy (6,06%), and 11 data of alliteration (33,33%).
