Abstract
This final paper entitled “A Study of Code Mixing in Bocah Ngapa (K) Ya ? on Trans 7 Youtube chanel is intended to find out the type of code mixing in Bocah Ngapa (K) Ya on Trans 7 Youtube Chanel and the most dominant type Which is used in Bocah Ngapa (K) Ya mini series on trans 7 YouTube chanel This study is a descriptive qualitative study. The research produces descriptive data in a written form. The object of this study is code mixing in the Bocah Ngapa (K) Ya mini series on Trans 7 youtube chanel. The data collected by writing the transcript of the conversation by Bocah Ngapa (K) Ya? mini series . After collecting the data, the writer classified data based on the types of code mixing and the most dominant type which is used in this mini series The results of analysis are as follows” first, from six types of code mixing based on Soewito’s theory, there are 3 types of code mixing used . They are the insertion of word (56), the insertion of phrase (3), and the insertion of idiom (1) . Second, the most dominant type which is used in this mini series is word insertion Key words: Bocah Ngapa (K) Ya, Code mixing, Language,Word, Mini series
