Abstract
Motorcycle is a reliable transportation tool and is also widely used because it is nimble and it saves fuel. There are increasing crimes that occur against motorcycle users in Indonesia. Although there are many ways to prevent motorcycle stealing and seizure, such as replacing multiple ignition key models or installing an alarm as a safety device for motorcycles, it does not make the offenders stop doing crimes to motorcycle users. The making of this microcontroller tool is intended to reduce criminal acts of stealing or seizure of motorcycles. By using this microcontroller tool, it is easier for motorcycle owners to secure their vehicles in additional ways because the working system of this tool is by utilizing Android features on smartphones. It enables to control the motorcycle security system using ATmega 328 Microcontroller. The working principle of this tool is turning on the vehicle contact by forcing it without entering the security code specified by the owner. The alarm then sounds. The Motorcycle is able to be activated after the owner enters the security code in the form (Username-Password) and it is required to enter the Port and IP in the android application. Hence, the Smartphone-Acess Point-Microcontroller can be connected. This tool can work effectively because it can reduce stealing that is accompanied with any acts of violence against the motorcycle users. It can also be used as an alternative safety on motorcycle. Keywords: Microcontroller, ATMega328, Android.
