Abstract
The internship program is one of the requirements for D3 Programs of English to graduate from University of Technology Yogyakarta as their final project. This internship aims to be a medium of cooperation between the company and University of Technology Yogyakarta so that students get insight and hands-on experience in the world of work. The internship was held at PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan, and Ratu Boko in which the Head Office is located at Jalan Raya Jogya - Solo Km 16 Prambanan Sleman, Yogyakarta. The internship as a tour guide at Prambanan Temple lasted for 1 month starting from 18 April - 18 May 2019. During the internship students provide services and information about Prambanan for free to foreign tourists. Being a tour guide, students experinced more chances to improve speaking skills when serving tourists from various countries. On the other hand students also faced obstacles in giving explanation about other tourist attractions outside Prambanan. Thus as a tour guide, we must have sufficient ability, skills, and knowledge to provide the best service to tourists. Keywords: internship, PT Taman Wisata Cani, Tour Guide
