Abstract
The Department of Population and Civil Registration of Magetan Regency is one of the implementing elements of the Regional Government in the field of Civil Registration. In this case Dispenduk has an important role in improving population and civil registration services in the Magetan Regency. In supporting DISPENDUK's vision and mission as a regional apparatus organization with good facilities and services, it is necessary to support every job to optimize results, for example in the document section of incoming and outgoing letters. Archiving of incoming and outgoing letters is an important part in this matter. The Office of Population and Civil Registry still uses written records recording which is thus less effective and accurate for conducting data collection, disclosure and searching quickly and accurately. So that the method needs to be changed into a computerized system to be able to support optimal performance. Therefore through the development of E-Archive System, web-based incoming and outgoing letters can provide convenience in terms of document archiving activities such as adding data, editing, deleting and performing search of incoming and outgoing mail based on the subject and sender and can print mail reports based on the date of the letter. The construction of this web-based system uses the programming language PHP (Pear Hypertext Prepocessor), MySQL as a database server, and Sublime as a support.
