Abstract
Potatoes or Solanum tuberosum L. is one of the third most important food plants in the world for human consumption. In Indonesia, potatoes are cultivated by farmers in the highlands between 800-1800 m. The geographical condition of the highlands is an obstacle to the care of potato plants. Potato pest control is one of the most important efforts to support the success of the harvest in addition to providing systematic maintenance costs management. Utilization of IoT-based microcontroller technology and Android devices were introduced by the author to monitor crop yields of potatoes on agricultural land. This system is expected to assist farmers in controlling pest spraying and monitoring the cost of treatment of IoT-based plants. Keywords: Potato Plant, Monitoring, IoT
