Abstract
The final paper analyzes personal deixis found in The Man from U.N.C.L.E. movie. There are two main problems that needs to be answered. The first, to find out the types of personal deixis found in The Man from U.N.C.L.E. movie. Second, is to find the most dominant personal deixis types in The Man from U.N.C.L.E. In this research, the writer used Marcella Frank’s theory to find the types of personal deixis. The writer used descriptive qualitative method for collecting the data from the movie. For analyzing and categorizing the data, the writer used three methods, those methods are shifting, classifying, and the last is coding. From this research, the writer found five types of personal deixis in The Man from U.N.C.L.E. movie. Those types are Subject Pronoun (51%), the second is Object Pronoun (26%), the third is Possesive Adjective (16%), the fourth is Reflexive Pronoun (5%), and the last is Possesive Pronoun (2%) Key words: Personal deixis, Marcella Frank, The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
