Abstract
This study is a descriptive research, about anger expression found in Revolutionary Road movie directed by Sam Mandes. Revolutionary Road is a romantic drama which is lasts 1 hour 59 minutes 15 seconds. The movie tells about problem in marriage relationship. The purpose of the study is to observe the types of anger expression and to find the most dominant type used by characters in the movie. To clarify anger expression the writer uses Mack Le Mouse’s theory. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods. The writer used observation technique and note taking as a method of data collecting. The result of this research shows that there are six types of anger expressions in the Revolutinary Road movie. The first is behavioral anger, the second is passive anger the thirth is verbal anger the fourth is retaliatory anger the fifth is judgmental anger and the last is deliberate anger. While the most dominant type of anger employed by character is verbal anger, that produces 11 utterance. Keyword: Expression, Anger, Movie, Type
