Abstract

The creation of Internet-based Travel Package Information System is growing, as people are always looking for new breakthroughs in the development of a remote information system that provides access rights and detailed information for the public.Business competition in various business sectors is supported by the rapid development of information technology.Similarly, the information system of sales of web-based tour packages, especially information about domestic tours ranging from tourist attractions in Indonesia and the cost of tour packages.Sahala Tour & Travel is one of the tour operators located on Jl.Imogiri Timur Km 10, Bantul.During this time, for the promotion of new tour packages along with price changes, still delivered by phone and brochure, so that the information conveyed is not fast and complete.As for booking tour packages are still done in a conventional way.Therefore, a web-based tour package booking information system is necessary to provide convenience to the community.In addition to promoting tour packages, this information system makes it easy for people to book the desired tour packages.With this system it is expected that customers can see the latest information on Sahala Tour & Travel in case of change of package and price, and can make a booking anytime and anywhere without having to go to the office. The process of making this website will use some software including: Adobe DreamWeaver, XAMPP, Web Browser and Microsoft Visio. Keywords: System design, Information System, Sahala Tour & Travel.
