Abstract
ABSTRAK Perusahaan giling padi daroji merupaka perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang pangan. Permasalahan yang terjadi pada perusahaan adalah terjadinya cacat produk pada beras 5Kg, hasil produksi bulan September dan Oktober mencapai 2279 pcs dan 1287 merupakan produk cacat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode six sigma dengan tahapan DMIC untuk mengetaui variabel penyebab cacat dan usulan perbaikan untuk mengurangi produk cacat. Berdasarkan olah data produksi didapatkan nilai DPMO 563140 dalam satu juta kali percobaan dan perusahaan berada pada tingkat sigma 1.33. Faktor penyebab produk cacat pada produk beras 5Kg berdasarkan interrelationship diagrams yaitu umumnya berasal dari sumberdaya manusia, alat produksi dan belum ditetapkannya stabdar bahan baku. Pada kasus tersebut perlu segera dilakukan peningkatan pengawasan terhadap karyawan, penentuan penjadawalan perawatan mesin dan menetukan standarisasi produk bahan baku gabah mengikuti SNI 6128:2015 Kata kunci: pengendalian kualitas, six sigma, DMIC, produk beras ABSTRACT Daroji rice milling company is a company engaged in the food sector. The problem that occurs in the company is the occurrence of product defects in 5 Kg of rice, the production results in September and October reached 2279 pcs and 1287 were defective products. This study uses the six sigma method approach with DMIC stages to determine the causes of defects and proposed improvements to reduce defective products. Based on the production data processing, it was found that the DPMO value was 563140 in one million trials and the company was at the sigma level of 1.33. Factors that cause defective products in 5 Kg rice products are based on interrelationship diagrams, which generally come from human resources, production tools and the standard of raw materials has not been determined.
