Abstract
Changes in lifestyle and economic demands in modern times like today urge that someone can manage their time as efficiently as possible, both in their personal and work affairs. Such changes lead to practical demands in responding to their personal needs, for example in terms of washing clothes and ironing. With this, slowly began to develop a service that provides convenience in terms of washing clothes, called laundry services. Vrai laundry is located at Jalan Monjali no. 43, Gemawang, Sleman. This laundry business provides kilogram and unit washing services. Laundry service is a business in the field of clothes or clothes washing services with various services such as dry cleaning only, dry cleaning and ironing, or clothes ironing only. The results of the analysis carried out, it is known that the data management process in the laundry business is still not optimal and there are several problems such as accumulation of archives and reports, slow information flow, slow data search process, and transaction report recap. To overcome these problems, the design and development of an information system for recording and issuing computerized transaction data is carried out so that it can run quickly, effectively and efficiently.
