Abstract

The rapid development of the world of tourism in the Bengkulu area, is not accompanied by the development of the technology used. Coupled with the condition of many tourists who do not want to travel because they feel lack of information about these attractions. So this makes potential tourists who want to spend their holidays to travel less certain in deciding to visit suitable tourist attractions. For that we need a system that can provide an overview of these tourist destinations. The purpose of this research is to produce an application that is useful to make it easier for users to get tourist information and hotels in Bengkulu City that are closest to their position, including information on the location of object coordinates on the map. The author uses a system development methodology consisting of data collection, system analysis, system design, system design, and system implementation. This method helps the author in completing this research with a set of system development steps. The result of this research is an Android-based Bengkulu tourism application that contains various tours and lodgings in Bengkulu as a form of media or promotion platform for the introduction of Bengkulu tourism. In addition, this application has route information to be able to go to the location of tourist attractions in Bengkulu that users want to visit
