Abstract

Kota Pacitan memiliki banyak destinasi wisata salah satunya adalah pantai. Pacitan sendiri memiliki julukan kota 1001 Goa, karena memang banyaknya Goa- Goa karst yang ada didaaerah tersebut. Kurangnya informasi mengenai pariwisata di Kabupaten Pacitan membuat sejumlah wisatawan tidak mengetahui objek wisata yang ada. Wisata yang dominan atau yang umum diketahui para wisatawan hanyalah Sebagian dari keseluruhan sehingga membuat objek wisata lain jarang terekspos. Tujuannya adalah menciptakan Tourism Information Center di Kabupaten Pacitan yang sesuai dengan konsep perencanaan dan perancangan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Regionalism yang mendukung aktivitas penyajian informasi di Tourism Information Center agar informasi tersampaikan. Tidak hanya visual saja, namun mampu secara verbal dan visual tentang pariwisata. Selain itu guna mengakomodir kegiatan-kegiatan pengenalan wisata yang diselenggarakan oleh dinas pariwisata agar mampu mensinergikan pembangunan pariwisata dan peningkatan jumlah wisatawan yang datang berkunjung ke Kabupaten Pacitan. Konsep yang digunakan merupakan suatu metode yang diharapkan mampu mempresentasikan sebuah Kawasan penanda atau identitas dengan mengangkat kharakteristik wisata atau budayanya. Penanda identitas disini bertujuan untuk memudahkan seseorang untuk mengetahui atau mendapatkan informasi tentang suatu tempat yang ada di Kabupaten Pacitan. Pacitan has many tourist attractions, one of which is the beach. This city is also called “the City of 1,001 caves” because it has many karsts. However, the lack of information about tourist destinations in Pacitan makes tourists unaware of those places. Tourist attractions that are commonly known to tourists are only a few of the whole, so other tourist attractions are rarely exposed. This research aims to design a Tourism Information Center in Pacitan Regency based on the concept of planning and design using a Regionalism approach to support the provision of information at the Tourism Information Center. Information about tourist attractions is conveyed not only visually, but also verbally. In addition, this place is expected to accommodate tourism introduction activities organized by the tourism office to synergize tourism development and increase the number of tourists visiting Pacitan Regency. This information center also aims to help tourists find out or get information about places in Pacitan Regency. The concept used are a method which is expected to present a region markers or identity by lifting characteristic tourism or culture. The identity here aimed to ease a person to know or get information about a place in Pacitan Regency.
