Abstract

ABSTRACT In this day and age, a security system is important for everyone, such as a home door security system. Many problems that often happen to everyone like forgetting to lock the door. So in this study, we will develop a prototype of a home door security system using RFID and fingerprints. This system uses the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller to set the RFID and fingerprint sensors. The microcontroller directs to android so that the system can carry out the process of monitoring and controlling the access to the door of the house. Based on the tests carried out, the RFID reading distance obtained by the reading level is in the range of 0 – 1.3 cm. And the results of testing the open door using RFID obtained a success rate of 100%, while the success rate of the fingerprint sensor reached 94%. Keywords : Doorlock, RFID, Fingerprint, IOT
