Abstract
Student Scientific Writing Publication Information System (Case Study: LIA Yogyakarta Foreign Language College) Muhammad Riadi Gumay Hirlambang, Arief Hermawan MT., Dr. Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail : bangherju@gmail.com, ariefdb@uty.ac.id, ABSTRACT Publication of scientific writing is one of the work tasks for an educational institution to publish student scientific writing that has been declared worthy of publication, while for writers/students, scientific writing publications are intended as a condition for completing the study period and acknowledging the completion of the field of education pursued, therefore it is necessary a publication system that is digitized effectively and efficiently to manage and handle the scientific writing publication process that can be used by both parties anytime anywhere. This study aims to produce an Information System that can be used by STBA-LIA Yogyakarta to handle the management and publication process of student scientific writing from the initial process to the final process. In the manufacture and development of this system using the prototyping method, by first making an example of the related system and then developing it again according to the needs and the publication process that applies to the institution. Meanwhile, in the process of collecting data, several methods were used, namely interviews with relevant informants, direct observations, and literature studies/rules that run at the institution. The main result obtained from this research is the creation of an Information System that can handle the publication process of student scientific writing, both from writing submissions, verification of submissions, selection of supervisors, guidance process, publication process, and appearance of published scientific writing information to the public.
