Abstract

Pendidikan berkualitas bagi anak dimulai dari lingkup keluarga, sehingga perempuan memiliki peran yang vital. Kabupaten Gresik menduduki peringkat kemiskinan ke-14 di tingkat nasional. Faktor perekonomian menjadi salah satu faktor rendahnya tingkat pendidikan. Beberapa sekolah perempuan gagasan LSM di Gresik telah dibangun dengan dukungan pemerintah setempat. Namun, fasilitas yang ada membutuhkan pengembangan inovasi kreatif dan sarana pembelajaran yang layak. Sehingga, diperlukan fasilitas yang mendukung yaitu dengan adanya pusat lembaga pemberdayaan perempuan. Pendekatan ekokultural menerapkan hubungan antara lingkungan dengan manusia sebagai makhluk hidup, serta kesesuaian dengan kultur masyarakat yang tinggal di sub- urban. Budaya menjadi katalis perempuan untuk berkontribusi. Desain diimplementasikan dengan prinsip-prinsip ekokultural. Prinsip citra ruang, mengkaji tentang pembentukan kesan ruang. Kedua sumber pengetahuan umum, merupakan pembelajaran alam dan lingkungan bertujuan untuk mengenal budaya setempat. Ketiga citra bangunan, yaitu langgam bangunan yang berkaitan dengan identitas dan kesan visual. Lalu teknologi dan material mengulas mengenai metode dan hubungan antara kehidupan bermasyarakat dan lingkungannya. Serta konsep nilai setempat, yang membahas konsep norma pada sebuah tempat dengan mempelajari cara tinggal melalui bangunan yang diadapasi. Dengan adanya pusat pemberdayaan ini diharapkan perempuan bisa mendapatkan kesetaraan hak-haknya dan menjadi perempuan mandiri yang lebih berani bertindak, memiliki kualitas hidup yang lebih baik, dan mencapai tujuan berkelanjutan secara global. Quality education for children starts from the family scope, therefore, women have a vital role. Gresik Regency is ranked 14th in poverty at the national level. Economy is one of the factors for the low level of education. Several NGO-led women's schools in Gresik have been built, supported by the local government. However, the existing facilities require the development of creative innovations and appropriate learning tools. Therefore, supporting facilities are needed, which is by the existence of a center for women's empowerment institution. The eco- cultural approach applies the relationship between the environment and humans as living beings, as well as conformity to the culture of the people living in the suburbs. Culture becomes a catalyst for women to contribute. Design is implemented with eco-cultural principles. Spatial image principle examines the formation of spatial impression. Two sources of general knowledge are natural and environmental learning to recognize the local culture. Three building images, namely the building style, are related to identity and visual impression. Then technology and materials review the methods and the relationship between social life and the environment. As well as the concept of local values, which discusses the concept of norms in a place by learning how to live through adapted buildings. Along with this empowerment center, hopefully women can get equal rights and become independent women who are braver to act, have a better quality of life, and achieve sustainable goals globally.
