Abstract

Inventory MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM (Case Study : Rising Store Magelang) Faisal Rahmat Hanif, Umar Zaky, S.Kom., M.Cs. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail : faisalrahmathanif@gmail.com, umarzaky@gmail.com, ABSTRACT The inventory management system that runs at the Rising Store still uses manual recording so that errors often occur in recording goods and difficulties in finding the items needed. The purpose of building an inventory management information system is to be able to help the warehouse department carry out the process of recording incoming goods, outgoing goods, and recording existing returns, and can make it easier to search for existing products. The research method used has several stages, namely problem identification, data collection, analysis, system design and design, implementation, and system testing using Blackbox Testing which can determine system functionality to determine whether the system is running as expected. The test results of this system show a success rate of 96%, where this system has not fully run as expected. The results of this study are in the development of an Inventory Management Information System that can assist and facilitate the warehouse section in recording incoming goods, outgoing goods, recording returns, and making it easier for the warehouse section to search for the location of the goods owned.
