Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION AND TESTING OF WEB-BASED GOODS INVENTORY INFORMATION SYSTEM Mira Marthiasari, Sutarman Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Siliwangi (Ringroad Utara), Jombor, Sleman, D.I. Yogyakarta 55285 E-Mail : miraams30@gmai.com, sutarman@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT In managing data on goods and transactions at the Tirta Djaya Building Shop, they still use books and some data is transferred to Microsoft Excel, which sometimes occurs when data input is incorrect or data is not inputted because paper records are lost. This method is less efficient and the resulting data is inaccurate. Another problem is not being able to generate reports in a short time by combining some of the existing data. The purpose of this research is to produce a web-based inventory information system from the results of the analysis and design that has been made. The research was conducted by using CSR interviews and observation. The method used to develop this system is the waterfall method. Tests are carried out using the black box method and provide results to create reports or search for data only takes a matter of seconds. Thus, it can be concluded that the analysis and design carried out can be implemented properly and the process of collecting data on goods and transactions as well as making reports becomes more efficient with more accurate data generated.
