Abstract

Jerowaru merupakan salah satu Kawasan di Lombok Timur yang memiliki banyak tempat-tempat wisata yang menjadi destinasi wisata alam yang banyak dikunjungi wisatawan lokal maupun mancanegara. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari meningkatnya jumlah wisatawan dari tahun ke tahun. Namun, dari banyaknya potensi wisata alam yang ada di Kawasan Jerowaru, akomodasi penginapan yang ada di Kawasan tersebut belum cukup memadai untuk memfasilitasi para wisatawan yang datang. Karena Kawasan tersebut jauh dari pusat kota dan berada di sisi paling timur serta terdapat beberapa titik akses jalan yang agak sulit dilalui, mengakibatkan masih kurangnya sarana dan infrastruktur, khususnya terkait tempat penginapan. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan fasilitas penginapan yang nyaman dan memadai untuk menunjang potensi wisata alam di Kawasan Jerowaru khususnya di daerah Sekaroh. Desa Sekaroh dipilih sebagai lokasi perancangan Resort karena lokasi ini dekat dengan beberapa wisata pantai, khususnya pantai Tangsi yang merupakan salah satu pantai berpasir pink yang terdapat di Indonesia. Pendekatan Arsitektur Ekologi dipilih untuk menyesuaikan objek dengan lokasi, agar dapat terciptanya Resort yang nyaman, memadai, ramah lingkungan serta dapat meminimalisir kerusakan alam. Jerowaru is one of the areas in East Lombok which has many tourist attractions, which are natural tourist destinations visited by many local and foreign tourists. This can be seen from the increasing number of tourists from year to year. However, from the many natural tourism potentials in the Jerowaru area, the accommodation is insufficient to facilitate tourists. Because the area is far from the city center and is on the easternmost side, several road access points are difficult to pass, resulting in a lack of facilities and infrastructure, especially lodging. Therefore, comfortable and adequate lodging facilities are needed to support the potential for nature tourism in the Jerowaru area, especially in the Sekaroh area. Sekaroh Village was chosen as the location for the Resort's design because this location is close to several beach attractions, especially Tangsi beach, one of Indonesia's pink sand beaches. The Ecological Architecture approach was chosen to match the object with the location to create a comfortable, adequate, environmentally friendly resort that can minimize natural damage.
