Abstract
Manto Printing is a privately owned printing company and has been established since 2010 and has 3 employees. Manto Printing is located at Jl. Jemawu Village - Kaliwareng Village, Warungasem District, Batang Regency, Central Java. Manto Printing serves the manufacture of banners, custom t-shirt screen printing, stamps, color/regular, photocopies, photo studios, color printing and paper making. In the process of printing manto can not be separated from the transaction of goods for each purchase. Currently, the transaction and sales processes still use paper and handwriting in recording customer transactions and financial reports. However, when the conditions are crowded, the cashier's customers often have difficulty in calculating and even often experience errors in transactions. Things like that make it difficult for cashiers to carry out financial reports accurately. So that a system is needed that can overcome these problems in a more computerized way to minimize errors in every transaction at Manto Printing. This study aims to provide convenience in managing transactions efficiently at Manto Printing. An efficient system is needed by Manto Printing considering the number of transactions that occur. The implementation of this system uses a point of sale system that will automate the transaction process, show sales patterns and financial reports so that the process can be done quickly. Application of Web-based Point of Sales that can be accessed by the cashier at the computer online. This website development uses PHP script (Hypertext Preprocessor), Javascript, xampp, and MySQL (My Structural Query Language). The result of this research is an implementation of point of sales application at the cashier which can make it easier for employees and owners to process incoming and outgoing transactions at Manto Printing automatically.
