Abstract

Sabo Dam adalah pengendali sedimen dengan cara menahan, menampung dan mengalirkan material/pasir yang terbawa oleh aliran dan meloloskan air ke hilir atau suatu sistem penanggulan erosi dan sedimentasi yang berpotensi menimbulkan bencana. Sabo Dam sangat diperlukan di Indonesia mengingat banyaknya gunung berapi aktif yang menimbulkan kerusakan saat terjadinya erupsi. Sao Dam PA C-Srowol, Sungai Pabelan, Kabupaten Magelang merupakan salah satu Sabo Dam yang berada pada hilir Sungai Pabelan dan memiliki peran penting sebagai penahan aliran banjir lahar terakhir dari Gunung Merapi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetaui kestabilan dari bangunan Sabo Dam PA C-Srowol dari stabilitas guling, stabilitas geser, daya dukung tanah fondasi, dan panjang lintasan kritis dengan percobaan debit tahun rencana. Hasil analisis stabilitas Sabo Dam PA C-Srowol menunjukkan stabilitas guling debit rencana 50 tahun (3,314 m), stabilitas geser debit rencana 50 tahun (1,74 m), daya dukung tanah fondasi maksimum (34,38 ton/m2), daya dukung tanah fondasi minimum (0,85 ton/m2), dan panjang lintasan kritis (4,416 m) yang semua hasil tersebut dinyatakan aman. Hasil analisis ini menunjukkan bahwa Sabo Dam PA C-Srowol dinyatakan stabil dan masih efektif dalam menahan laju sedimen pada saat terjadi banjir. Kata kunci: Sabo Dam, Stabilitas Sabo Dam, Stabilitas guling, Stabilitas geser, Daya dukung tanah fondasi, Panjang lintasan kritis. Sabo Dam is sediment control by holding, accommodating and draining material/sand carried by the flow and releasing water downstream or an erosion and sedimentation management system that has the potential to cause disasters. Sabo Dam is very necessary in Indonesia given the number of active volcanoes that cause damage during eruptions. Sabo Dam PA C-Srowol, Pabelan River, Magelang Regency is one of the Sabo Dams located downstream of the Pabelan River and has an important role as a barrier to the last lava flood flow from Mount Merapi. The purpose of this study was to determine the stability of the Sabo Dam PA C-Srowol building from overturning stability, shear stability, bearing capacity of the foundation soil, and critical path length with the design year discharge experiment. The results of the stability analysis of the Sabo Dam PA C-Srowol show the overturning stability of the 50-year design discharge (3.314 m), the shear stability of the 50-year design discharge (1.74 m), the maximum bearing capacity of the foundation soil (34.38 tons/m2), the bearing capacity minimum foundation soil (0.85 ton/m2), and critical path length (4,416 m) all of which are declared safe. The results of this analysis indicate that the Sabo Dam PA C-Srowol is declared stable and still effective in restraining the sediment rate during a flood.
