Abstract

Kawasan Wisata Baturaden sebagai kawasan dengan wisata alam terbesar di Kabupaten Banyumas menjadikan kawasan ini sebagai kawasan dengan tingkat kedatangan wisatawan yang tinggi. Namun tingginya tingkat kedatangan wisatawan tidak di imbangi dengan jumlah akomodasi penginapan yang cukup dan fasilitas yang memadai. Sebagai upaya guna mendukung peningkatan kepariwisataan kawasan diperlukannya pembangunan Resort di Kawasan Wisata Baturaden. Pembangunan resort ini, diharapkan untuk dapat mewadahi kebutuhan wisatawan dan mengimbangi jumlah wisatawan menginap sehingga dapat memperpanjang durasi tinggal lebih lama. Kawasan Wisata Baturaden sendiri merupakan kawasan dengan iklim tropis lembab karena lokasinya yang berada di kawasan pegunungan. Pendekatan Arsitektur Tropis Kontemporer digunakan untuk dapat menyelesaikan problematika iklim tropis kawasan seperti panas matahari, suhu dan curah hujan yang tinggi dengan tidak mengesampingkan bentuk dan variasi bangunan sesuai perkembangan gaya arsitektur kontemporer saat ini. Metode perancangan yang digunakan adalah metode primer dan metode sekunder. Pengumpulan data dengan metode primer dilakukan melalui observasi lapangan untuk memperoleh data dan dokumentasi wilayah, sedangkan pengumpulan data dengan metode sekunder dilakukan melalui observasi studi kasus dan studi literatur. Prinsip-prinsip desain Arsitektur Tropis Kontemporer kemudian diterapkan pada bagian tatanan massa, konsep ruang, konsep sirkulasi, penataan landscape, pemilihan material, gubahan serta orientasi massa bangunan. Baturaden Tourism Area, as an area with the most significant natural tourism in Banyumas Regency, makes this area an area with a high level of tourist arrivals. However, the high rate of tourist arrivals is not balanced by the number of accommodations and adequate facilities. To support the improvement of regional tourism, it is necessary to develop resorts in the Baturaden Tourism Area. The construction of this resort is expected to accommodate the needs of tourists and balance the number of tourists staying so that they can extend the duration of their stay longer. The Baturaden Tourism Area itself has a humid tropical climate because of its location in a mountainous area. The Contemporary Tropical Architecture approach is used to solve the problems of the tropical climate of the region, such as hot sun, high temperature, and rainfall, without compromising the shape and variations of buildings according to the development of contemporary architectural styles today. The design method used is the primary method and the second method. Data collection with the primary method was carried out through field observations to obtain regional data and documentation, while data collection with the second method was carried out through case study observations and literature studies. The design principles of Contemporary Tropical Architecture are then applied to the mass structure, space concept, circulation concept, landscape arrangement, material selection, composition, and building mass orientation.
