Abstract

Embung Bimomartani digunakan sebagai tampungan air pada musim hujan dan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan irigasi pada saat musim kemarau. Embung Bimomartani terletak di kaki gunung Merapi dengan area persawahan yang luas, maka perlu ada keseimbangan antara kebutuhan air irigasi dan ketersediaan air pada embung, sehingga perlu dilakukan simulasi pola operasi embung. Proses simulasi pola operasi embung selain digunakan untuk mengetahui keseimbangan antara ketersediaan air dan kebutuhan air juga untuk mengetahui tingkat kegagalan operasi embung. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan simulasi dengan pola tanam padi-palawija. Dalam simulasi pola operasi embung digunakan data-data antara lain, data hujan setengah bulanan 3 stasiun hujan (Bronggang, Plataran dan Prumpung tahun 2013-2020, data klimatologi Plunyon tahun 2013-2020, luas DAS 7,94 km2, dan luas irigasi 134,8 ha. Metode simulasi pola operasi embung yang digunakan yaitu metode Standard Operating Rule (SOR). Hasil simulasi pola operasi embung menggunakan metode Standard Operating Rule (SOR) menunjukan kesuksesan pada bulan Agustus hingga Febuari dan mengalami kegagalan pada bulan Maret hingga Juli. Ketersedian air di DAS Embung Bimomartani rata-rata adalah 0,14 m3/s, Sedangkan kebutuhan untuk air irigasi rata-rata 0,09 m3/s. Dapat dilihat jika dihitung dengan rata-rata kebutuhan air irigasi telah terpenuhi.. Kata kunci: Ketersediaan Air, Kebutuhan Air, Simulasi, Pola operasi The Bimomartani dam is used as a water reservoir during the rainy season and to meet irrigation needs during the dry season. Bimomartani reservoir is located at the foot of Mount Merapi with a large area of rice fields, so there needs to be a balance between irrigation water needs and water availability in the reservoir, so it is necessary to simulate the reservoir operation pattern. The simulation process for the reservoir operation pattern is used to determine the balance between water availability and water demand and to determine the failure rate of the reservoir operation. This study simulated a rice-palawija cropping pattern. In the simulation of the reservoir operation pattern, data are used, including semi-monthly rain data for three rain stations (Bronggang, Plataran, and Prumpung in 2013-2020, Plunyon climatological data for 2013-2020, 7.94 km2 watershed area, and 134 irrigation areas, 8 ha Simulation method of reservoir operation pattern used is Standard Operating Rule (SOR) method. The simulation result of reservoir operation pattern using the Standard Operating Rule (SOR) method shows success from August to February and failure from March to July Water availability In the Embung Bimomartani watershed, the average is 0.14 m3/s, while the need for irrigation water is on average 0.09 m3/s.
