Abstract
USULAN PERBAIKAN KUALITAS PRODUK MEBEL MENGUNAKAN METODE STATISTICAL PROCESS CONTROL (SPC) DAN FAILURE MODE EFFECT ANALYSIS (FMEA) Hadiyanto Amirul Shahab 1, Ari Zaqi Al-Faritsy 2 Jurusan Teknik Industri,Fakultas Sains Dan Teknologi, Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta Jl. Glagahsari No.63, Umbulharjo, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta 55164 Email: shahabhadiyantoamirul@gmail.com, ari_zaqi@uty.ac.id ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor – faktor penyebab terjadinya cacat produk mebel serta memberikan usulan perbaikan untuk mengurangi produk cacat pada (UD Jefri Putra Mebel) dengan cara menganalisis keseluruhan jumlah produk mebel yang diproduksi dalam jangka waktu satu bulan. Hasil pemilihan produk untuk diteliti didasarkan pada bukti data produksi mebel selama tanggal 27 September 2021 s/d 4 November 2021 yang menghasilkan data pembuatan produk mebel sebanyak 154 unit, dengan jumlah kecacatan 23 unit (15%), dan ada empat faktor kecacatan yaitu kecacatan lecat, penyok, warna belang, dan tidak simetris. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Statistical Process Control (SPC) dan Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Dari hasil diagram histogram telah ditemukan kecacatan yang paling dominan adalah kecacatan tidak simetris sebanyak 11 unit, dan hasil dari presentase kumulatif diagram pareto sebesar 48%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis p chart, kecacatan mebel berada dalam batas kendali. Ditunjukkan dengan adanya keseluruhan titik berada di dalam batas garis UCL dan LCL dimana batas grafik UCL menunjukkan pada titik (1,059) dan titik LCL di (- 0,498), untuk batasan CL berada pada titik (0,280), sedangkan nilai proporsi paling tinggi di titik (0,500) dan titik terendah berada pada (0,125). Penerapan metode (FMEA) Failure Mode and Effect Analysis pada metode ini, menghasilkan usulan perbaikan terhadap kerusakan yang paling dominan kecacatan tidak simetris dengan membuat SOP yang baku dalam pembuatan produk mebel, dan pelatihan secara berkala untuk dapat mengoprasikan mesin secara kompeten, serta penambahan oven pada proses pengeringan kayu. The results of the selection of products to be studied are based on evidence of furniture production data during September 27, 2021 to November 4, 2021 which produces data on the manufacture of furniture products as many as 154 units, with a total defect of 23 units (15%), and there are four defect factors in the form of blemishes, dented, striped color, and not symmetrical. This research uses Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (FMEA) methods. From the results of the histogram diagram, it has been found that the most dominant defects are asymmetric defects of 11 units, and the cumulative percentage of Pareto diagrams is 48%. Based on the results of the p chart analysis, furniture defects are within control limits. It is indicated by the presence of all points within the boundary of the UCL and LCL lines where the UCL graph boundary shows at the point (1.059) and the LCL point at (- 0.498), for the CL boundary it is at the point (0.280), while the highest proportion value is at the point ( 0.500) and the lowest point is at (0.125). The application of the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) method to this method, resulted in proposed repairs to the most dominant damage asymmetrical defects by making standard SOPs in the manufacture of furniture products, and regular training to be able to operate machines competently, as well as adding an oven to the wood drying process.
