Abstract

Yogyakarta 55164, Indonesia nleo9000@gmail.com 1 *, 2 suseno@uty.ac.id ABSTRAK PT XYZ ialah suatu usaha dalam bidang manufaktur yang bergerak pada produksi olahan texstile dan produk yang dihasilkan ialah sarung. Untuk alur perpindahan material di perusahaan terdapat beberapa proses produksi untuk menjadi produk siap kirim berupa sarung, proses tersebut dilakukan pemindahan material sebanyak 4 kali dengan melibatkan 3 operator material handling. Pada penanganan kedatangan jumlah rata-rata material kain perhari, banyaknya sebesar 954,5m didatangkan dengan menggunakan 1-2 truck perhari dan disimpan dalam gudang induk material kain, hal tersebut mengakibatkan operator material handling harus selalu melakukan perpindahan dan mengatur gudang agar tidak menumpuk hingga keluar batas gudang dan mengganggu aktivitas bagi pekerja departemen lain. Sebaliknya, terdapat area penyimpanan material kain yang cukup pada area departemen Persiapan dan departemen produksi lainnya, hal ini bertolak belakang dengan masalah yang terdapat pada gudang induk. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan analisis terhadap jumlah man power untuk mengatur proses perpindahan material dan melakukan analisis mengenai luas area penyimpanan menggunakan metode Junbiki dan perhitungan kartu Kanban untuk sistem informasi aliran material menggunakan metode Kanban. Didapatkan hasil kartu Kanban yang optimal untuk perusahaan sebanyak 1 kartu, dalam perhitungan metode Junbiki didapatkan hasil total area kebutuhan area penyimpanan di perusahaan seluas 2270 m2, hal ini dapat mereduksi total area penyimpanan di perusahaan hingga 1049 m2 atau 32% dari luas area penyimpanan saat ini di perusahaan, untuk kebutuhan man power dapat mereduksi 2 orang pekerja atau tereduksi 67% dari jumlah man power saat ini diperusahaan Kata Kunci : Kanban, Junbiki, Man Power, Luas Area Gudang ANALYSIS OF KANBAN AND JUNBIKI METHODS ON DUNIATEX FABRIC MATERIAL Case Study at PT XYZ ABSTRACT PT XYZ is a manufacturing business engaging in producing processed textiles, and the resulting product is a sarong. For the flow of material transfer in the company, there are several production processes to become ready-to-ship products in the form of gloves. The process is carried out by moving the material four times, involving three material handling operators. In handling the arrival of the average amount of fabric material per day, an amount of 954.5 m is imported using 1-2 trucks per day and stored in the main fabric material warehouse, and this causes material handling operators always to move and arrange the warehouse so that it does not pile up out of the way. Warehouse boundaries and disrupt activities for other department workers. On the other hand, there is a sufficient storage area for fabric materials in the area of the Preparation department and other production departments, which contrasts the problems in the main warehouse. For this reason, it is necessary to analyze the workforce to regulate the material transfer process and analyze the storage area using the Junbiki method and the Kanban card calculation for the material flow information system using the Kanban method. The results of the optimal Kanban card for the company are 1 card. In the calculation of the Junbiki method, the total area required for the company's storage area is 2270 m2, which can reduce the total storage area to 1049 m2 or 32% of the current storage area. In the company, the need for a workforce can reduce to two workers or 67% of the total workforce currently in the company.
