Abstract

This work practice report aims to find out the systems and procedures for granting credit at KSP Jaya Abadi Sejahtera Purworejo. The Jaya Abadi Sejahtera Purworejo Savings and Loans Cooperative (KSP) is a type of cooperative engaged in the savings and loan business with a role in creating a more advanced society. In addition, KSP Jaya Abadi Sejahtera Purworejo also acts as an institution that focuses on empowering the economies of its members, especially the lower and middle class. In the framework of writing this thesis, the approach used is a qualitative approach, with observation and interviews as a tool to collect data. The results of this study indicate that the lending procedure carried out by KSP Jaya Abadi Sejahtera Purworejo is not in accordance with the KSP Jaya Abadi Sejahtera Purworejo activity guidelines. The author found that a detailed survey or review was not carried out on the collateral provided by the prospective borrower when applying for credit and there were no salary slips for his employees. The functions related to extending credit to KSP Jaya Abadi Sejahtera Purworejo are quite good because each function always works well together and each section has responsibility in carrying out its duties.
