Abstract
Kata kunci: Six Sigma, DMAIC, Kaizen, Five-M Checklist, Five Step ANALYSIS OF QUALITY CONTROL OF UNIFORM OSIS PRODUCTS USING SIX SIGMA AND KAIZEN METHODS ABSTRACT UKM XYZ is a leading garment company in Bumen. The Osis uniform still has a defective product in one of its productions. Based on the company's actual Defects Per Unit (DPU) from December 2021 to November 2022, gross, improper stitching, and logo defects have deviated. The number of defects for one year is 136 pcs out of a total production of 1770 pcs with details of 45 pcs of gross defects, 48 pcs of untidy stitching defects, and 43 pcs of deformed logo defects. Based on the above, problems can be solved using the six sigma DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) method and the kaizen Five-M Checklist (man, milleu, process, machine, and material), and the Five-Step Plan (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, and Shitsuke). Based on calculations from December 2021 to November 2022, XYZ SMEs have an average sigma of 3.37 with a DPMO result of 0.16471. As seen in the computation of the Pareto diagram, the most dominant percentage of defects are untidy stitches, with a ratio of 35.29%, gross defects of 33.09%, and logo defects of 31.62%. The results recommendations for improvement were making stickers as a sign for placing and grouping items and making wooden shelves/cabinets for grouping and storing items. Conduct periodic job training to improve work quality and operator capabilities and provide Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for machine use. An independent generator is provided to anticipate sudden power outages. Keywords: Six Sigma, DMAIC, Kaizen, Five-M Checklist, Five Steps
