Abstract

ABSTRAK CV Decorus adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang industri furniture. Salah satu produknya adalah taren vanity cabinet black. Pada Februari 2023, CV Decorus memproduksi 100 unit produk, namun terdapat 69 unit (68%) cacat. Jenis cacat tersebut adalah meler, bubble dan bekas dempul. Kecacatan meler pada bulan Februari 2023 mencapai 26 unit, kemudian kecacatan bubble/gelembung mencapai 23 unit, sedangkan kecacatan bekas dempul mencapai 20 unit. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab terjadinya cacat pada produk taren vanity cabinet black dan usulan perbaikan. metode yang digunakan adalah PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Action) dan tools yang digunakan yaitu: Diagram Pareto, Diagram Fishbone, p-chart, FMEA, dan 5W+1H. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa faktor penyebab kecacatan adalah pekerja tidak melakukan pengecatan secara merata, kemudian jarak spray gun terlalu dekat yaitu 15-20 cm dari objek dan hasil dempul terlalu tebal pada permukaan kayu, usulan perbaikannya adalah pengawasan dan memberikan standart operating procedure (SOP) tertulis pada bagian produksi di area yang letaknya mudah dijangkau oleh pekerja sebagai acuan operator, kemudian pengawasan dan pemahaman saat melakukan proses pendempulan, lalu melakukan bimbingan dan arahan pada saat training bertujuan untuk menerapkan standar kerja. Kata Kunci : PDCA, Taren Vanity Cabinet Black, Kualitas ABSTRACT CV Decorus is a company engaged in the furniture industry. One of the products is taren vanity cabinet black. In February 2023, CV Decorus produced 100 units of products, but 69 units (68%) were defective. The types of defects are runny, bubble and putty marks. The defects in runny nose in February 2023 reached 26 units, then the defects in bubbles reached 23 units, while the defects in former putty reached 20 units. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that cause defects in taren vanity cabinet black products and suggestions for improvements. the method used is PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Action) and the tools used are: Pareto Diagrams, Fishbone Diagrams, p-charts, FMEA, and 5W+1H. The results of the study revealed that the factors causing the disability were workers not painting evenly, then the distance of the spray gun was too close, namely 15-20 cm from the object and the putty was too thick on the wood surface. The proposed improvement is supervision and providing written standard operating procedures (SOP) in the production section in areas that are easily accessible by workers as a reference for operators, then supervision and understanding when carrying out the caulking process, then providing guidance and direction during training aimed at implementing work standards .
