Abstract

Kata kunci: Erosi, USLE, ARCGIS 10.8 The process of preventing erosion requires basic data in the form of information about erosion around the rain catchment area. To obtain basic data in determining the strategy for preventing land erosion around the Randugunting reservoir, it is necessary to conduct research on erosion prediction. The Randugunting Reservoir, located in Kalinanas Village, Japah District, Blora Regency, Central Java Province, was built with a capacity of 14.4 million cubic meters and can irrigate 650 hectares of rice fields in Blora, Pati and Rembang Regencies. Reservoir planning is a building designed to be able to accommodate water on a large scale. Taking into account the rate of erosion that will be experienced by the reservoir is also very important. The problem that often arises over time is erosion in the reservoir. The increase in high land erosion, and its impact on reducing the life of the reservoir function and reservoir capacity. The purpose of this study was to determine the rate of erosion that occurred in the Randugunting reservoir watershed using the USLE (Universal Soil Loss Equation) method and the Arcgis 10.8 application. The results of the USLE calculation show that the erosion rate of the Randugunting Reservoir watershed is 16702 tons/ha/year, the sedimentation value is 729.88 tons/ha/year, with an erosion hazard level (TBE) spread over several areas of the Randugunting Reservoir watershed from light to very heavy levels and there are 4 land use classes consisting of forests, rice fields, plantations and settlements in the Randugunting Reservoir watershed. Keywords: Erosion, USLE, ARCGIS 10.8
