Abstract

Sport centre merupakan tempat yang mewadahi kegiatan olahraga baik kegiatan latihan, rekreasi, maupun kompetitif. Perancangan ini berdasarkan latar belakang banyaknya isu dari permasalahan tentang sedikit minat olahraga karena belum adanya fasilitas olahraga yang layak di Kabupaten Demak. Sport centre ini terletak di kelurahan bintoro, kecamatan demak kota, kabupaten demak merupakan kawasan yang masih strategis dan luas di area persawahan. Penerapan pendekatan pada perancangan sport centre menggunakan “High-Tech Architecture”. Permasalahan pada perancangan ini adalah bagaimana merancang sport centre di Kabupaten Demak dan bagaimana merancangan sport centre dengan menggunakan pendekatan arsitektur high-tech. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah meningkatkan prestasi olahraga dan minat olahraga untuk memperbaiki masa depan masyarakat di Kabupaten Demak. Penerapan Pendekatan “High-Tech Architecture” pada perancangan sport centre ini merespon secara menyeluruh mulai dari struktur bangunan, utilitas, serta selubung bangunan yang akan digunakan, sehingga memberikan kesan baru terhadap perancangan ini. Metode ini menggunakan pembahasan analisa dari latar belakang masalah yang menurunnya prestasi olahraga, kebutuhan pengguna, hingga penerapan pendekatan dengan menggunakan arsitektur high-tech. Dapat disimpulkan perancangan sport centre ini berfungsi sebagai tempat yang mewadahi kegiatan olahraga baik kegiatan latihan, rekreasi, maupun kompetitif. The sports center is a place that accommodates different sports activities, includingh exercises, recreational activities and competitions. A sports center would be established in Demak Regency in responding to the low interest in sports in the community due to inavailability of proper sports facilities. The sports center will be located in a strategic area in Bintoro Village, Demak City District with vast rice field around. This study was performed to design a sports center to fit the condition in Demak Regency using high-tech architectural approach to enhance the achievements in sports as well as to improve the health of the community. "High-Tech Architecture" would be applied to the whole building structure, utilities, and the facades to give impressive look. An analytical discussion was performed to analyze the core issues causing low sports achievement and user needs analysisis was also administered regarding the use of high-tech architecture approach. It can be concluded that the sports center would be designed to accommodate various sports activities including exercises, recreational activities and competitions.
