Abstract

Waduk Sempor merupakan salah satu waduk yang menjadi salah satu waduk yang diawasi oleh BBWS SO( berada di Sempor,Gombong, Kebumen. Waduk yang dikelilingi perbukitan ini dibangun pada masa pemerintahan Presiden Suharto. Dari segi pariwisata, tingkat kunjungan wisatawan di Waduk Sempor masih berada di bawah rata-rata jumlah kunjungan wisatawan pada suatu objek wisata di Kabupaten Kebumen. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh kurangnya fasilitas pendukung untuk wisatawan seperti, rumah makan,penginapan,tempat belanja oleh-oleh,serta tempat informasi mengenai Waduk Sempor itu sendiri. Oleh karena itu,untuk meningkatkan jumlah kunjungan wisatawan ke Waduk Sempor maka dibuatkan visitor center dengan dilengkapi fasilitas seperti gallery,fnb area,area informasi,auditorium,serta tempat glamping sebagai sarana penginapan. Perancangan visitor center ini menggunakan pendekatan arsitektur ekologi,yaitu pendekatan yang mengedepankan hubungan timbal balik antara bangunan dengan lingkungannya. Pemilihan pendekatan tersebut dipilih karena lokasi perancangan yaitu Waduk Sempor, memilki area yang masih cukup asri sehingga untuk tetap menjaga kelestarian alam di sekitarnya. Unsur-unsur ekologis yang diterapkan pada perancangan ini seperti,menggunakan energi terbarukan yaitu cahaya matahari pada beberapa instalasi elektronik berupa lampu baik di dalam bangunan maupun di area outdoor, memaksimalkan penghawaan alami dengan desain bangunan yang memperbanyak kisi-kisi dan penggunaan material transparan seperti kaca untuk memaksimalkan pencahayaan alami serta untuk menikmati view perbukitan. Selain itu air hujan dan limbah air kotor dimanfaatkan kembali dengan melalui proses filtrasi terlebih dahulu kemudian untuk menyirami tanaman serta persediaan air untuk pemadam kebakaran. Sempor Reservoir in Gombong, Kebumen Regency is under the management of BBWS SO. The reservoir is surrounded by hills and was established in the reign of President Suharto. However, the number of tourist visit in Sempor Reservoir is still below the average number of tourist visits to other tourist attractions in Kebumen Regency. The low tourist visit might be due to unavailability of supporting facilities such as restaurants, lodging, sourvenir shops, and information center. To attract more visitors, a visitor center with supporting facilities such as a gallery, fnb area, information area, auditorium, and a glamping place for accommodation will be established. The architectural design of the visitor center will adapt an ecological architectural approach which emphasizes the reciprocal relationship between building and its surroundings. This approach is chosen in consideration to the natural environment around the reservoir which has beautiful view that should be preserved. Several ecological elements will be applied to this design including the use of renewable energy resource in the form of solar panel for light installation inside the building and in outdoor areas, optimized natural ventilation by installing ventilated facade and transparent materials such as glass roof to allow natural lighting and to allow visitors enjoy the hill view. In addition, rainwater and waste water will be filtered to be reused in watering the plants and water supply for firefighting.
