Abstract

Coronavirus 2019 (Covid-19) merupakan salah satu wabah yang menakutkan beberapa tahun belakangan ini bagi semua negara termasuk Indonesia. Dampak yang paling signifikan dari adanya Covid-19 adalah sektor transportasi, semenjak adanya virus tersebut pemerintah menerapkan beberapa aturan diantara social distancing dan menerapkan sistem WFH guna untuk mengurangi penyebaran virus Covid-19. Seiring dengan adanya Covid-19 mampu mengubah perilaku masyarakat dalam melakukan pemilihan moda transportasi, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui alasan apa saja yang mempengaruhi masyarakat dalam memilih moda transportasi angkutan umum maupun angkutan pribadi akibat pandemi Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah logit biner selisih guna mengetahui probabilitas dalam pemilihan moda transportasi, sedangkan metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan untuk menyebarkan kuesioner adalah melalui Google Form yang didistribusikan kepada masyarakat melalui media sosial. Pengolahan data menggunakan bantuan software SPSS 21.0 dan Microsoft Excel. Hasil penelitian yang dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda didapatkan beberapa variabel yang mepengaruhi masyarakat dalam pemilihan moda tranportasi dalam tiga kondisi waktu pandemi diantaranya adalah prosentase biaya yang dikeluarkan terhadap pendapatan responden (X4) dan maksud tujuan perjalanan responden (X5). Selanjutnya nilai koefisien masing – masing kondisi dimasukkan ke dalam model logit biner untuk mengetahui probabilitas dari alternatif pemilihan moda. Maka didapatkan hasil probabilitas pemilihan moda transportasi masyarakat Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta sebelum pandemi Covid – 19 56% masyarakat lebih memilih angkutan umum dan 44% angkutan pribadi sebagai sarana menuju lokasi tujuan. Selama pandemi 70% masyarakat lebih memilih angkutan pribadi dan 30% memilih angkutan umum sebagai sarana menuju lokasi tujuan. Sesudah pandemi 28% masyarakat lebih memilih angkutan umum dan 72% masyarakat memilih angkutan pribadi sebagai sarana menuju lokasi tujuan. Dari hasil pengujian dapat disimpulkan bahwa masyarakat akan tetap memilih angkutan pribadi selama pandemi guna menghindari penyebaran Covid-19, sementara sebelum dan sesudah pandemi masyarakat memilih menggunakan angkutan umum dengan berbagai pertimbangan misalnya dari segi biaya, maksud tujuan, waktu, keamanan, kenyamanan. Kata Kunci: Pemilihan Moda, Transportasi, Covid 19, Logit Biner Coronavirus 2019 (Covid-19) is one of the most frightening outbreaks in recent years for all countries, including Indonesia. The most significant impact of Covid-19 is the transportation sector; since the virus, the government has implemented several rules regarding social distancing and the WFH system to reduce the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Along with the Covid-19 being able to change people's behavior in choosing transportation modes, this study aims to find out what influences people in choosing public and private transportation modes due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this study is binary logit difference to determine the probability of selecting the mode of transportation. The data collection method used to distribute questionnaires is through Google Forms, distributed to the public through social media. Data processing using SPSS 21.0 software and Microsoft Excel. The results of the study, which were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis, obtained several variables that influenced the community in choosing the mode of transportation in three conditions during the pandemic, including the percentage of costs incurred on the respondent's income (X4) and the respondent's travel destination (X5). Furthermore, the coefficient value of each condition is entered into the binary logit model to determine the probability of the alternative mode selection. Then the probability results of choosing the mode of transportation for the people in Yogyakarta before the Covid-19 pandemic were obtained, 56% of the people preferred public transportation and 44% of private transportation as a means to their destination. During the pandemic, 70% of people liked private transportation, and 30% chose public transportation as a means to their destination. After the pandemic, 28% of people prefer public transportation, and 72% choose private transportation to their destination. From the test results, it can be concluded that people will continue to choose private transportation during the pandemic to avoid the spread of Covid-19. In contrast, before and after the pandemic, people decide to use public transportation with various considerations, such as cost, purpose, time, security, and comfort.
