Abstract

ABSTRACT Trucuk Village Hall is the village administrative center and a gathering place for the community to hold deliberations or other meetings. The village hall office stores a lot of important information such as population data and other confidential data. The village hall office is also a part of government, where a government agency must have a capable data security system. If you do not pay attention to the security of confidential documents or data, there will be a data leak or data interception by irresponsible parties which can cause losses to certain parties and the village government. In order to prevent data leaks or duplication of data, an encryption and description system was created to secure archival data such as population data. In this research, the Rivest Code 4 algorithm method is used as a security system for confidential documents or data at the Trucuk village hall office. This security system was developed with the PHP programming language and MySQL database. With this data security system, it can increase the level of data security at the Trucuk Village Hall Office.
