Abstract

ABSTRACT Technology is one of the fields that has developed very quickly recently so that it is able to solve various problems that exist in various sectors. One of the problems that has been resolved in the government sector is the emergence of e-government, which is a movement where the government tries to use technology to carry out government activities so that government is more effective. One form of implementing e-government is the e-inventory application. The aim of making this application is that it can be used as a solution to problems documenting state goods, such as errors in recording data because it is still done manually, goods data not being updated in real time, and difficulties when the data is needed when being checked by the inspectorate or the Financial Audit Agency ( CPC). This problem often occurs in government offices that have a lot of inventory, one of which is the Berau Regional People's Representative Council (Berau Regional People's Representative Council) which still experiences problems in recording inventory items. Therefore, an Android-based goods inventory system application was developed which aims to facilitate the activities of updating inventory data, documenting goods, and simplifying the activities of retrieving goods data. Keywords: Android, Inventory, Database, Documentation, E-government
