Abstract

ABSTRACT Garbage is a quite serious problem. One of the main factors is the lack of public awareness in proper waste disposal and management, as well as their lack of attention to the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness, which causes the pile of waste to increase. Therefore, this research was conducted to provide an alternative solution for the community, so that the community can easily manage and dispose of waste appropriately and adequately and instill the habit of separating waste by designing and creating a waste management application called E-Bin which can be accessed via a web platform. and mobile, it is hoped that the public can use it effectively through the complaint and waste exchange features. It is hoped that the application design is simple and easy to understand and will facilitate public access. This research was conducted using observation and interview methods, which involved collecting information about existing systems. This application was developed using Android Studio with Java as the programming language, MySQL as the database server, and Visual Studio Code as the supporting tool. It has been tested using black-box testing, showing that the application functions well and is suitable for use.
