Abstract

ABSTRACT Parents' busy lives are often an inhibiting factor in determining children's development, starting from learning at home and at school. The role of parents in educating children at home can make children's thinking patterns and development patterns more optimal because children are more familiar with their parents. The aim of this research is to create an Android-based information system for monitoring children's learning progress so that parents can also find out about their children's progress at school. This research uses the waterfall model method in creating the system. This research produces an information system for monitoring children's learning progress that can be accessed via smartphone by parents so they can monitor their children's progress at school.
