Abstract

ABSTRACT The large number of tourist attractions, especially marine tourism, in the Gunungkidul area has caused increased confusion. The very limited availability of information about marine tourism spots makes it difficult to find marine tourism locations that are attractive and in line with what is desired. Therefore, a mobile web marine tourism location mapping system was created which aims to implement a geographic information system using map visualization which can make it easier for tourists to find information about marine tourist attractions in the Gunungkidul area and can help show the route that users will take. This system was created using the waterfall method to produce a systematic and sequential system design. In the system design process, flowmap is used. The results of creating a web-based marine tourism location mapping application can provide information to users to make it easier to find marine tourism locations and other information such as routes, addresses, images of the marine tourism location.
