Abstract

ABSTRACT Nowadays, hair care is one of the appearance factors that men often pay attention to. This is reinforced by the increase in barbershop businesses that are emerging at this time. However, amidst the development of the barbershop business, quite a few barbershops are using WhatsApp as a medium to make reservations and choose services provided by the barbershop. Services via WhatsApp media cannot handle customer queues and have problems, namely that it is difficult to determine which customers take priority because the barbershop must always look at the empty schedule, it is not uncommon for the barbershop to forget and this results in customer schedules clashing with other customers. To overcome this problem, an application was built that can process Android-based customer queues as a solution for ordering queues to be more organized and effective. By developing this application, it can make it easier for barbershops to handle queues and not have to worry about schedule conflicts. It is also easy for customers to make reservations online and can immediately choose the facilities and services provided by the barbershop.
