Abstract

ABSTRACT Currently, the village administration system is still inadequate and inefficient in providing services to the community. The numerous complaints from residents indicate the incompetence and inefficiency of the system. The complex procedures, time-consuming processes, and unclear and frequently changing requirements make the community uncomfortable and undermine their trust in the village government. The development of information and communication technology can be utilized to overcome public service problems, one of which is through mobile applications. Technological advancements, particularly in mobile applications, become a solution to improve the quality of public services, including at the village level. Mobile applications have advantages in portability, ease of access, and time efficiency that can improve village administrative services. This research aims to design a mobile-based village administrative service system to facilitate administrative services in villages and improve community performance and trust in the village government. The waterfall method is used with stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The Dart language in the Flutter framework is used to build this mobile system. Black box testing is conducted to test the system's functionality. The test results show that the system is running well as expected, implementing the Mobile-Based Village Administrative Service System. This system is expected to improve efficiency, transparency, and ease of access to administrative services for the community.
