Abstract

ABSTRACT The government sector is expected to utilize technology to support and optimize their respective performance, so that they can provide better services to the community. The 'Regional Cooperation Letter Archive System' was developed to support the performance of the Singkawang City government in archiving cooperation letters, which is currently still done using paper-based and traditional methods. The development of this system uses the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method which involves several stages of data collection. This research includes interviews with the Singkawang City Regional Secretariat to collect information about archiving incoming and outgoing letters using the old method. With this application which uses an online database, administrators no longer need to spend time storing or accessing old incoming and outgoing mail. Administrators will also find it easier to offer collaboration with other institutions or organizations. Keywords: Android, Archives, Mail, Web
